the idea
I’ve always wanted to develop a game – just for fun. I like these puzzle-styled games and I wanted to create something new and unique. My wife’s idea was that we have to create a story around it and make it look like a cartoon with funny elements. So this is how Buddy Block Buster’s idea have born.

We wanted to create our first mobile game but first we had to choose a game type and style for this desire. We finally decided to make a puzzle type game because we ourselves like to spend time with these kind of mobile games. Our goal was to entertain people with a game which can be continued at any time after a playing session. The idea was to create a cartoon-like design with a funny story which could be expanded as the game’s player community is growing. That’s how Buddy Block Buster was born.
Each of the game’s characters have special abilities which sometimes are corresponding with their appearances. The Buddy Block Buster has in-app purchase options which can help going onward in the game, unlocking new characters or solve certain situations. The users are also collecting “likes” and “coins” while playing the game which they can also spend in the game for the purposes mentioned above. There are more ways to collect these currencies and helps – by completing challenges in a certain time or reaching achievement milestones. Gift boxes and treasure chests are turning up from time to time in the game area which can be collected. By using the abilities of the characters, players can solve problematic situations – these abilities are activating automatically and can be upgraded to have more impact on the game.
